Example Partner Authority Letter

If you are a partnership, we require an Authorisation Letter in the format below. We know this takes time, so we have tried to make this as simple for you as possible through this guide. We explain how you can create an Authorisation Letter and send this to us.

Instructions

  1. Copy and paste the below document in to a text editor (like Microsoft Word, or Google Docs). We have provided the footnotes to this document for explanation purposes only - please remove these from the document you prepare!
  2. Please put your logo or branding on the document
  3. Fill details such as date, company name, authorized signatory name and partner names 
  4. Have the document signed by all partners (we will cross check this against the name of partners as part of the partnership agreement provided)
  5. Send a scanned copy of this to support@getsafepay.com

Notes to template Partner Authority Letter

Number What you need to do
1 A letterhead normally has your partnership's full legal name and logo

Enter the full legal name of your partnership

3 We expect to see a recently passed Authority Letter
4 Understand how you will use the Safepay Services for your business and what rate has been agreed between us for this
5 Insert the name of the partner that will sign the merchant agreement - all the partners should agree that this partner is the individual that will sign the merchant agreement with Safepay
6 We need the email address of the partner that will sign the merchant agreement so that we can send them the agreement to sign digitally over email
7 We need the contact number of the partner that will sign the merchant agreement so that we can contact them in relation to the Safepay services
8 Insert the name of your business (what your customers normally refer to you as) if this is different from the full legal name of your partnership. For example Safepay's legal name is Safepay (Private) Limited but customers refer to it as Safepay.
9 Insert the link to the website that you are linking to the Safepay Services (where you expect your customers to shop with you from)
10 Make sure the KYC documentation you have provided us is valid and up-to-date
11 Understand that we use financial partners to provide the Safepay Services
12 We need this to ensure that the Partners know which account is being credited by Safepay

14 We need this to ensure that the Partners know which account is being credited by Safepay. Your bank will be able to provide you this
15 We need to know the Partners have authorized who we deal with to discuss information in relation to the Safepay Services.
