How to make a payment with easypaisa
Safepay Checkout provides customers with a simplified and secure checkout experience directly from their merchant's website.
We've written below how you will be able to make a payment using your Easypaisa account.
You can follow the instructions below to make a payment with your Easypaisa account on the merchant's website or a quick link that they will share with you.
Step 1: Click on the Safepay Checkout button
Step 2: Choose Payfast as the channel to use as it has Easypaisa as a payment option. Payfast is a financial partner
Step 3: Click the Easypaisa as the payment option in the list of payment options under Payfast
Step 4: Enter your credentials and click make payment. Your credentials for your Easypaisa account would be your CNIC number, your email address and the phone number linked to your Easypaisa account.
Step 5: Click submit in the pop up below and proceed to your Easypaisa application
Step 6: On your Easypaisa application on the top left corner click your profile photo to go to My Account where your profile, settings and more are located
Step 7: In My Account click on My Approvals
Step 7: When you click on My approvals, in Received, you will see the payment request as shown in the image below. Click Accept to go ahead with the payment
Step 8: After you click Accept, the following image will pop up, click Pay Now. Please note, the merchant will be listed as opsmasteraccount
Step 8: Safepay will attempt to authorise the transaction, if the transaction is successful you will see the following image in your easypaisa app saying Transaction Successful
| The line item in the email notification from Easypaisa will show up as Payfast-APPS. Safepay works with PayFast to allow you to pay your favourite merchants using Easypaisa
Important to note
The line item in the bank statement associated with the account that was used to make the payment will show up as:
- OPS Internal Settlement Master Account or PAYFAST-APPS
Safepay works with PayFast to allow you to pay your favourite merchants using bank transfer or mobile wallets.
For further details on the transaction, you should refer to the email receipt that we send to the email address you have used to complete your transaction. The image above shows the kind of information you will receive in case you need to contact the merchant, or us.
